Dr. Phung Tran, DO
Dr. Tran is a Family Medicine board-trained osteopathic physician with a deep commitment to the principles and practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM). She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM) in 2018, where her passion for osteopathic manipulative treatments and medicine was evident throughout her medical training.
She completed her Family Medicine residency at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, New York, graduating in 2021. Following residency, Dr. Tran joined the outpatient Family Medicine practice in Vestal, NY—later known as Guthrie Lourdes Vestal Family Practice—where she provided comprehensive family medicine care while consistently integrating osteopathic manipulative treatments into her clinical practice.
In addition to patient care, Dr. Tran served as Osteopathic Core Faculty for the Family Medicine Residency Program, where she trained and mentored future osteopathic physicians, reinforcing the foundations and philosophy of osteopathic medicine.
In 2026, Dr. Tran chose to begin a new chapter in her career, dedicating her practice exclusively to Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Her approach augments the body’s inherent ability to heal and emphasizes the importance of treating the whole person through hands-on individualized care, leading to pain relief and patient satisfaction beyond typical pain management.
Dr. Tran is honored to support patients on their journey toward pain relief, function, and healing.
